Ben N. Walker IV

Producing Mortgage Team Leader 

Ben N. Walker IV serves as Producing Mortgage Team Leader for Southern Security Mortgage, a division of Southern Security Federal Credit Union. Based in Ridgeland, Mississippi, Ben brings more than 15 years of mortgage lending and leadership experience to his role.

Throughout his career, Ben has served borrowers and led mortgage operations at several respected financial institutions, including Luminate Bank, Bank of England, Evansville Teachers Federal Credit Union, and First Liberty Financial Group. His extensive background includes experience as a mortgage banker, loan advisor, loan officer, branch manager, and producing team leader.

Ben earned both a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resources and a Master of Business Administration from Mississippi State University. His combination of financial expertise, leadership experience, and knowledge of real estate and land resources allows him to provide borrowers with informed, personalized guidance throughout the mortgage process.

Ben is committed to building lasting relationships with his clients and referral partners while helping individuals and families achieve their homeownership and financial goals.

Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife, Brittany, and their two children, Katherine and Benjamin. He is a member of St. James and enjoys hunting, fishing, boating, sports, and attending Mississippi State athletic events.
